ive been trying to buy monroe or gabriel shocks/struts for the summer driving season now and canadian tire wants 117$C for sensatrak struts - and thats on sale! auto parts giant - only wants 53$US per strut but wants 78$US for shipping to canada - now thats outrageous! more canadian frustrations

C$117 actually sounds about right. I'm not sure what the exchange rate is, but when I priced them on sale here in the US they were US$41 apiece, total of $82 plus whatever the sales tax was. That's for an 84-87 Fiero.
