my 87GT idles at 28-34 PSI oil pressure when its up to temp, i never have the oil light come on, no knocks or pings, or anything of that nature... when cold it idles at 2000 RPM, but when up to temp it idles around 900-1000 RPM, Im wondering if that seems like low oil pressure to you guys, or if im just being paranoid...

my 85GT idles around 45-50 PSI at hot idle, so thats why i was wondering, the 87GT is a 3.4L from a 95 camaro with around 100k miles, the 85GT is a 2.8L from a 86GT with 260k+ miles, but it has new rod/main bearings installed about 2000 miles ago after i checked and gauged the crank. the 3.4L had new bearings put in it when i did the swap, they have around 3000 miles on them, and oilpressure has been around 28-34 PSI idling, since i put the motor in the car, im just worried.

No worry---that's very good oil pressure for idle!

Normal oil pressure for the 2.8 is specified at 30-45 PSIG
I would guess the camaro engine is about the same.

A couple PSI may not be much to worry about but keep an eye on it. If it starts dropping more it could be an early sign of major problems.
