Holy crap... and to think I got everything done properly(cept replace coolant sensor thats triggering a code 14).

The motor is revin like crazy 1.5k -3k. I had to pull the iac and set it manually and leave it unplugged(just a quick fix).

Ok heres the deal, it sounds like i have a vacuum leak. I hear something leaking and sounds somewhat big. But cannot seem to find it. I have looked and sprayed with throttle body cleanner but no luck. Sounds like its near lower intake on side with pulleys.

Now if I did have a vacuum leak, would it screw up the map sensor? And where would this have more of an impact on the map, ie top intake, lower, etc?

Ivan.

hi what type engine, V6, check for cracked egr tube, dont look at it, take it out, 99% of the time you will not see hairline cracks, you only see them when it is out, very common.........................................

Possibly a blown intake manifold gasket .You can buy a mechanics stethoscope and try and locate the vacume leak that way or take a piece of ruber hose and hold it up to your ear and the other near the vacume leak and see if that helps locate it .

i just worked on a car today with a code 35. broken (not cracked, but completely broken) egr tube.

other people working on it before i got to it thought it was a IAC problem.
