The block is a freshly rebuilt 2.8 bored 30 over. That is pretty much stock with the exception of a hot cam.

The Blower is a Used MagnaChager blower that was purchased off Ebay. It was orginally intended for a 2.8 S-10 pickup

Im going to top the blower with a holly 390

surprisingly there is alot of room for the s/c pullys.

Ill post more pics as the work continues. I think I did pretty good today, I removed the cradel, pulled the motor, installed the new motor and got it back in the car in about 8 hours.

it looks great, I'm wondering if you can create or modify an indy over the roof scoop too come down over the carb and seal it with an air filter in it. It looks like the blower sits just about perfect for that. You will probably have to make a bellcrank type linkage to get the carb hooked up anyways.

Good luck on it.

How much did the blower run you on eBay, and how much work was it to install? Looks good!

Excellent! Love what you did!

For those interested in a supercharger:
http://www.fageolsuperchargers.com/
Makes one for 60* V-6's. They have pulleys for 5psi, 7psi and 9psi of boost. It sits 1.5" lower then the one above.
They don't have a specific kit for the Fiero, But if you buy the SC and all the parts you need it comes out to about $2200.
You can use the Holley 390 4-bbl or the Holley 670cfm TBI Pro-Jection set-up

Some pics of the blower can be seen here:

The blower will fit under the decklid, however the carb will not Im planning to find some sort of fiberglass scoop to cover the carb.

we picked up the blower for about $500. The beautiful thing on this project is that this is my little brothers car, so hes paying all the bills. however I did think he was going to do more of the work

there is about $2500 to $3000 in the engine right now, its amazing how fast the money goes. We were very careful to bargin hunt and lots of the parts came off ebay.

Beauty!

Now you have me wondering if that baby would bolt on to the 2.8's lower intake, and with some obvious tweaking of the FI system, stay with FI instead of carb'ing it. Hmmm...

Nice. I sure hope you are gonna clean and paint that engine bay though! Better not bolt it in with out doing that first!

Clean engine bays make faster cars. Okay maybe not but they look better dammit.

this blower will not work with the fiero lower intake. Its sits on a S-10 2.8 carbed intake. As far as cleaning the engine bay, yup that is today project I just want to trial fit the motor to make sure everything fit.
