can you put window tint on a rear window w/defog? by extinct

i got it on mine, didn't affect anything and it looks awesome, i got 20%

i've had tint on almost all my cars and all those cars had rear window defrost. i used it all the time and the tint was fine. alot of tint shops actually use the lines as places to hide seams...in other words it's perfectly fine.

I think he's wondering if you put the tint on the inside or outside of the car.

Tint always goes inside. It works fine over defogger strips. Just a little harder to get all the little bubbles out. You have to squeege across and not up and down.

When it comes time to take the tint off, will it come off without damagine the defrost wires on
the window?

YEs it can be removed just fine. Safest thing to use is the plastic razors. THey won't scratch glass or cut defroster lines. Just gotta be carefull when cleaning off the adhesive from tint if it get's removed.
