I have one of the Haynes books that I picked up from Autozone. It goes over quite a bit of stuff, but I'm wondering if there is a book with more. Anyone like any particular book?

Haynes and Chiltons are pretty similar. Each one covers most stuff. Hands down the best will be the Factory Service Manual published by Helms. They're about $90 and worth every penny. This is the book the GM techs use.

Another vote for the Helm factory manual. I haven't touched my Haynes or Chiltons since I got the factory service manual. Check ebay, I see quite a few there (it's where I got mine), or www.helminc.com if you want a new one. Pricey, but as Formula88 said, they are worth it.

another vote for the Service Manual. I like Chiltons over Haynes, but they are basicly the same thing - copies of SOME of the stuff from the service manual. The diagrams in the service manual are SOOO much sharper than the copies in Chiltons or Haynes. And the detail, especially in wiring, you will find nowhere else.

Personally, I like having all three around. Haynes has some stuff that chiltons doesn't have and visa versa. The factory service manual is geared more towards people who really know what they're doing to begin with. I should also add that I have the factory manual on my computer (something I bought off of ebay), and for all I know it's not complete.
