I need a passenger front lower control arm for my 86gt. All the yards I call say they have a different part number for the GT suspension vs the coupe. As far as I knew they are all the same except for 88s, does anyone know the difference?

The likelyhood of a yard around here having a GT is very slim. Hopefully the coupe suspension will work.

AFAIK, there are only 3 front lower control arms: 84, 85-87 and 88. Coupes and GT's are the same. The 84 arm will fit all thru 87.
