I am getting ready to drop my V6 motor and would like someone to give me the dimensions of the platform that I will drop the motor onto. Can I build it with 2 x 4's and metal casters? (If not what do I need and please give me the dimensions that work for you. Thanks

Here's one I made for my '88:

I don't remember the measurement, but basically I sized it to line up with the fore/aft running cradle elements.

That's a great looking dolly Jazz, but I don't have a welder and need to make one out of wood. Just want to go to the Home Depot and get what I need and build it in the garage. Anyone have a wooden one that they can share ideas with me? The furniture dolly looks simple, where can I buy one of those?

I built one out of wood. Then the next week I was shopping at Harbor Freight, and saw that it was cheaper to buy one. I don't remember the exact price, but I remember I wished I had just bought it from H.F.
