Advice is necessary. By what American cars there is a same switch for wipers.

I think the list would be shorter if you asked what gm cars of that year would not fit.

Not sure about the 84 but for all the others, if the switch connector looks like the one below, it will probably work. Try S-10 and Sonoma pick-ups, late 80's thru 94.

I had the switch in view of the handle. Can precisely such it is established on other models GM.

Here is a list of GM vehicles that use the same delay wiper board as the Fiero (shaded blocks). The numbers (1-4) indicate switches that while not identical, will work on the Fiero. There may also be others.
