My friend has a 93 RX7 with a 13B and the stock twin turbos and it screams! We're doing a single turbo T70 setup right now. I haven't driven a Fiero with one, but the powerband with the twin turbos just keeps getting higher; I bet it would be insane in a Fiero, if you don't mind mixing and matching parts. Figuring out the wiring and all would be insane though. Good luck with whatever you plan to do and welcome to the forum!! --Bryson
Well, I've got a bunch of 302 parts I collected (always thought '69Zs were awesome) and this seems like the perfect application. With a mild cam, the 302 will rev forever and still have plenty of torque for a small car. It's also not as likely to break things as a bigger motor. Too bad they aren't lighter than a bigger motor.

i think the tech4 was the "new, improved" duke, with an overhead cam and dis. i had one in a late 80s buick.
Nope. When the Iron Duke met the Fiero, it was re-christened Tech 4. Only significant difference is the cross-flow head. No overhead cam; dis didn't come until the '87 models.
I've been talking about a similar venture w/ a guy over at grassroots motorsports ... the problem w/ a rotory on a FWD style car is where the exhaust is... the exhaust ports are right where the axles are... but it has been done before
The Fiero has the CV by the diff but I guess it would interfere with the rear exhaust port. How much can you tilt the motor without running into problems? Other than the pan / pickup it doesn't seem like it would cause problems.
