First off, I was wondering how hard it is to convert an auto to a manual, such as what is involved and what problems you might run into.

Second. I know ive heard that california kid had his trans chryo-treated, what exactly is that, and how much money does it cost?

Thanks in advance for your input.

It's really not that hard to convert from manual to auto and vice versa. The car is basically set up for either, theres no drilling or fabricating. The hardest part is getting all the parts together to do it! The mall is a great place to look. To make it as simple as possible I would suggest buying a whole non running or running donor car to take the parts from, that way you have everything there. It also helps in installing the parts if you have taken them from their original location yourself.
Hope this helps a little, it would be difficult to write up a detailed swap description in just a few minutes!
