Five or six years ago my wife brought home this liquid shine. It had a small sponge and about enough to do 2 medium size cars. I cleaned my car up and tried it out. It did shine it up very nice and made it easy to wash. My only problem was that any dirt that got stuck in the polish was there for good. I could not get the stuff back off the car. If this works the same way you better have a nice garage to put it on in. Please let post if you do get it and let me know, I liked the stuff my wife found and would like to try it out again now that I know to be careful about dirt.

Sounds like just another 'snake oil' to me. Ive seen those 'wax every 5 year' deals before, especially ones with teflon. A shop I worked at even did it for like $200 on new cars. Didnt work any better than $5 polish from Pep Boys. Dont believe the crap about 'beading' either. For one thing those water beads in sunlite destroy the clearcoat. Paint naturally beads water anyway except on dead paint. A car I paint today will bead like crazy tommorrow without ever being touched with anything.

I am a big fan of Meguiars 3 step.. nothing better for bringing back that original shine... to maintain it... without having to wax 2x a month....
http://www.autogeek.net/klasse.html

I have used this on 2 cars with EXCELLENT results. Normally, my meguiars would have washed off by now, but the shine is still there on the car.. and the paint is smooth.

On my convertible fiero, I enjoyed waxing.. so Meguiars was great.. but on the everyday car.. waxing it really bites.. so Klasse works there.

The stuff I used was more like an acrylic clear coat.
Problem I had was it didn’t repel other cars, I totaled the car before I had to redo the finish.
Its like floor wax, it will shine when you first put it on but I bet it will cloud up later. Try it on your beater first.
