I'm not quite sure what you mean by "dog bone cradlemount" but all the engine and transmission mounts are the same from '85 - '87. The '85 part will work.

So you're saying ALL parts are interchangeable within 85-87 v6's? All parts besides transmision differences. Like Mounts, dogbone mounts, plenums, etc...
The dogbone cradle mounts are the long pieces of metal that brace the dogbone to the engine itself. Take a look at the engine bay...the dog bone extends out to the engine.

The Engines themselves are the same. I have an 86 SE with an 88 Formula motor. I did need to retain the 88 Motor Mount "U" but that was all I _HAD_ to keep. Other than that it was plug 'n' play.

The '88 engine blocks are the same as previous year Fiero V6 motors, but the internals are different, as well as the timing cover and oil pan. Actually, I think that the timing cover and oil pan are the same as '87. The crank is completely different, though. The pre-88 cars have an externally balanced crank, and the '88 cars were internally balanced, making the flywheel/flexplate different as well. Also there was a minor change to the rear main seal in there somewhere as well.
