What am I missing here, I thought I had the control arm off, just like the other side, but the drivers side control arm seems to be jamed. The car has been in a slight fender bender, before I bought it, but the only part that was replaced was the nose. (so I was told) There is no noticeable damage, so what give? It's all moving parts, so I should be able to just pull the lower control arm out when it is disconected, right? Is there a trick, is there something wrong with this side. Is there something wrong with the passengers side for coming out so easy?
?Confuzzled?

did you have to cut the bolts at all? Just keep working at it. your having better luck then I had with my lower arms. We cut the bolts and had to use a big pry bar to get it out. It will come out though........
Dont give up.

No, not cutting any bolts, PB Blaster has helped me there, but I just about pulled the car off the stands when I was pulling the lower arm out. It still moves in the correct manner (pivots up and down). Maybe there is a sleeve that I don't know about? I didn't see anything inside anywhere, and like I said, the other one was easy. If I can't figure it out, I'll try drilling the holes out a bit. But then again, would drilling it out cause another problem? I have never had such a hard time with a control arm.
Thanks for the help. I hope this doesn't turn into a mis-shaped lower arm.
TIA,

Thank you all. I worked it up and down, and put pressure on it from behind, and POP, I got a mouth full of control arm. Seeing as the bleeding has stopped, when the swelling comes down a bit, I will replace the bushings, and ball joint.
