I want to paint the interior pieces of the car, they have already been all torn out by the previous owner, if its plastic its laying in my garage, except the dash, and the middle console *its just gone*, since they are already out I want to paint them, black would be my choice, I am going to re-carpet the car with black carpet. How should I do it, should I just use several layers of primer to do it, or should I primer, then use enamel paint, or another paint. Or just paint it without primer, someone help me! I just finished dying my interior black. and it turned out great. I used VHT Penetrating dye (black satan). you just prep the pieces really good with paint thinner and then alcohol best use a good degreaser first. then wipe off with water and once its dry follow instructions on can.
Do not dye/paint if its humid out this can cause discoloration in spots
