Hello i just got my transmission replaced with a rebuilt unit. Now I notice that the transmission seems to whine a little bit when in first gear. It is a little noticible in second and third and by fourth and fifth it is gone. I know that it is normal for reverse to make this sound but could this be a potential problem for me? thanks.

You might try bleading the slave sylinder,might have air in it.You should be under warenty though.

hmm well funny you should mention that because after I got the car back the master or slave went out. Luckily it was just replaced so the part is under warranty. But I seemed to notice that the noise got worse as the clutch got worse. Maybe it will be gone when i get the car back.
