Took my plenum off for Rodney's new steel vac lines. And inside the Plenum I find a good size carbon turd from the EGR & PCV tubes.Glad I found it before it restricted any more airflow or dislodged and headed downstream (ouch).So I needed to bead blast the inside for carbon deposits as well as getting that red *^!* paint off. Will let ya know how the Duplicolor Metalcast turns out.

If you run some carbon cleaner thru the intake about every 10k miles or so, you will never see "turds" like that again.
Personally, I like to use GM's top engine cleaner or Seafoam cleaner.
