I have a car that was sitting for an unknow period of time and all of the tires went flat during that time. They were all 4 fairly new tires when it was parked outside. I pumped them all up, but from sitting flat, several of them now seem unbalanced and shake when driving at highway speeds. Can these tires be taken to a tire shop and have them re-balanced, or is there no hope for them?

Bob

You could try to inflate them to the max pressure rating for the tire, and hope they get round again. Try not to drive the car too much at this pressure, or drive it fast. Hopefully this will help get rid of the "flat" spots your tires have, then you can reduce your tire pressure back to normal. This will only work if the flat spots aren't too bad, and it helps if you drive on a hot day, if this doesn't work no amount of rebalancing will help.
