Coinball - I had a simialar problem in my 87 GT. The fan ran "all the time", as soon as I turned the key to "on" not even start. If you have the same problem, I think it can only be one thing. My trouble was caused by a short in the AC wiring and a bad high pressure switch on the "AC" thing in the front compartment; you know that aluminum canister. The switch on the top was bad. So- a signal was constantly sent to the fan relay causing it to be on "always". If this is not your problem, any auto store has the relay; I got one from Standard Motor Products; RY-113. Cost of relay $ 14.20. Good Luck - Ed

Sorry, me again. I forgot part of your question. The fan relay is "conveniently" located directly in front of and just below the headlight on the driver's side. It's only held on by two screws but its a pain, small fingers and small tools are a plus. Ed
i'm gonna try putting the stock fan switch in as soon as my car cools down (have rodney's 195/185 switch in there now) if that doesn't fix it i'm gonna buy a new relay tomorrow and trace the wire through the car...need to get it ready to go for the 20th...it figures my car has all kinds of problems now...

The 4th Annual Fiero Dutch Classic is on Saturday, August 16th at Zinn's Park, Denver, Pa. Check it out on www.fieropride.com. Just wondered who is going? Supposed to be a pretty good event.
