i just discovered a chip in one head light so it's time for it to be replaced.

i replaced the other side a few years ago, and i remember it taking a long time.

i remember someone saying there was an easier / faster way.

anyone know what the trick is.

You don't need to remove the bucket/spring assy - just remove the plastic surround and then remove the upper or lower retaining screws and fudge (gently bend) the retainer enough to remove the light. I've done it several times and it's much easier/quicker!

there are notes in my cave about making changing easier and aiming them after they are in.

For best results... Always replace the lamps as a matched pair.
