hey guys have question on the motor for a 4 cyl fiero. looking to find a replacement at the auto wreckers. im sure there are a few cars with the same motor in them. if im right can you tell me which ones

There is a long list of posible Vin R and U donors in the DIS L4 replacement article in my cave. (Link at top of page) That article is targeted at 87-88 L4 but could be usefull for earlier years as well. Note however that you cannot easily put a DIS L4 in place of a distributor motor or vise versa.

Another thing to consider.. the U block as in the grand ams. has a far different mounting setup than the R block.. so your looking at some work to make it fit...

this from trying to put a 91 2.5 U into a Fiero myself..
