Someone tried to break into my fiero, the decklid has many crow bar marks, the bake lights are falling out, and the lock is drilled out, how can I open the trunk if the lock mechanism/ keylock on the back is drilled out and im not sure if my decklid switch even works now since some electrical crap was also acting wacky the other day. how can i get the decklid open? can i touch two wires on the decklid switch or use a battery on them or something to open it? plz any info would be helpful

If you're electric release won't work, then just finish the job of drilling out the lock. Not much else you can do. And you have to replace it anyway.
Sorry to hear that. I hate theives and vandals

Is the lock cylinder drilled all the way through? If it is, find a 6 inch screwdriver with a flat blade less than 1/4 inch wide. Use that through the hole to engage the slot in the latch. Turn it to release, usually about half a turn or less.

alright i got it, apparently nothing was taken, but the fiberglass body did kinda come in handy since when they tried to crowbar it, the fibergalss just bent up and gave them no leverage at all to open it... lol... once again fiero prevails. What do you think they are gonna do about fixing it? I am taking it to get looked at. The back has dings in it from the crowbar that are repairable, but should I try to get a new clip since they have to repaint it anyway?
