The TPI throttle bracket has a stud with a groove around it...

Thus they are incompatible???

so is there a clean and easy way to correct this.

When I built my TPI Fiero, I used a V6 throttle cable.

The length was just about perfect, and the throttle end of the cable housing is correct to fit in the TPI throttle cable bracket.

The only issue I ran into was how to connect the end of the cable to the throttle linkage.

here are some pics from the mock up stage

In this picture you can see where I had to bend the throttle cable bracket ahead in order to let the throttle close fully when the cable was hooked up.

Somehow in this picture the end of the throttle cable has magically dissapeared, I have an arrow pointing to the next area of interest, and that is the U shaped tab on the bottom on the linkage

Using my totally awesome paint shop skills once again, I painted in what would be the loop on the end of the V6 throttle cable.
The collar on the cable, at the base of the loop is slipped over the U shaped tab where it is held in place.

I did have the cable fall off twice, so I simply bent that U shaped tab up, so that the cable could not fall out of position.

This has worked great for me.

Wow!.. how do you put a 350 TPI or a 4.5? Do you have to get a custom lower intake?
What's involved? Does anyone have pics of the experience?

A stock TPI. system will fit under the hood, with out a problem. NO custom intake is needed. You can always take a look at mine. I live in Napa. Just let me know.
