Well, after a long period of time beeing outside cancer appears. I take some pics of it, we hope it can be fixed. My bro wants to try to fix that ASAP due that his engine is almost done and ready to get in.

The cancer is located in the engine bay below the rear window.

dosent look too terrible, i bet some por-15 will fix that right up and make it better then new

I never saw a Fiero rot there. Better check the trunk's side walls and behind the wheel well liners, thats where the real trouble is.

I have a 87 SE that I bought in '96 and it had 18k miles on it then.

The car sat at least 5 years that anyone could remember and it was starting to rust out in the same area, under the rear window, and the rear firewall.

The frame rails and trunk are perfect in it, so I would say it is from condensation / moisture in the air.
