approximately how long does it take to remove a front fender? I'm going to the local pick and pull to get one this week as I got there just before closing Today so I wasn't able to get it. Originally I was just gonna use a hammer & chisel to remove the lower rivet(shear off rivet head, punch out rivet) but I'm gonna try and borrow a cordless drill instead since I have to wait to get it anyhow. Just curious as to how long it would take to do it either way as I want to get it this Week before I go to work in the afternoon so I have it to put on My car next Weekend. Sorry so long & dumb, Thanks in advance to any replies

Anywhere from 10min to 30min, its not to bad. I think I spent more time looking for the correct sockets than I did actually removing the last one I pulled. 10mm or 13mm for the bolts it seems and the wheel liner was something like 7mm. The drill is a fast way to do away with the rivets but I have resorted to a pair of linesman pliers in the past, whatever works to get them out without damaging the desired peice.
If the yard is not overpriced and you have the cash I would suggest pulling everything you can thats in good shape. Theres always someone looking for parts and as long as your resonable the mall should recoupe your cost and a little extra.
