Somewhere on my '87GT hides a coolant fan relay. I've tried to find it by sound, but it's sneaky quiet.
Thanks in advande for the help.

Thanks for the reply, but you might be mistaken. I pulled that Relay (lots of fun with the headlight in place) and the wire colors didn't match.

No, he is absolutly correct.
It is also the only stock relay mounted in that location on the 87&88.

Just pulled the one in my '86SE today, and it's at the front of the driver's side headlight bucket. Has 4 wires, in a straight row. Outer 2 (large ones) are the power in and out, inner 2 (smaller ones) are the relay coil power wires. Mine stays on for 3 seconds after I shut the car off. Wierd.
