I have been researching headers and there pros and cons here on PFF.
Seems some headers do not require gaskets
at the heads or crossover pipe.
Is this the recommended practice???
Some on here have indicated problems with
leaking.
Whats the correct installation practice???

I used gaskets with my FOCOA headers and after 2 years and 25K+ miles I have no leaks.

Same here! I used standard Felpro exhaust gaskets (same as V6 Camaro) for the headers and Ultra Copper RTV at the connecting flanges to the crossover pipe. No Prolems!
