I have a 86 Fiero with a 2.5L. I have a problem with the idelit stumbles and stalls. I check the computer and it tells me that the o2 sensor is bad so I replace it with a Bosch and restet the computer. Problem still there computer says its bad warrenties are great got another still same problem. Looked for brown ground for sensor down around starter found brown wire and it has a round rubber piece on it is this the o2 ground? Also have replaced IAC valve with each replacment ruffness and bad idel is less but still there. Put on MAP sensor problem is less but still there. It will ideal when I start it and then give it gas it seems to load up will run but it's ruff then it smooths out for a while. Any words of wisdom?????

Your assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the Forum! I knew you were AF as soon as I saw the name.
As for the rough idle, I think you are covering a lot of the right stuff. Check the TPS like suggested and also check for vaccum leaks. Keep us posted!

Checked the TSP is plugged in how else do you test it? Could it be in the EGR. Would that make it load up some times and then smooth out? What is the ignition moduale I don't see that in the Hanes manual? Were is it located.

The ignition module is the black box inside the distributor with the two connectors. It is a common weak link that goes bad.
