Got my overflow tank today from the Fiero Store. Shipping was very prompt. Packaging first rate.
The tank however didn't fit as good as expected. When the rubber washers were put on the mounting studs as directed I could not get either nut started. Without the washers I can install the nuts..... but I had to start one nut then push the other mounting tab in about 3/4" to get the nut started. I feel this may be putting to much stress on the plastic tank mounting flanges causing them to crack just like the original one did. (it did last 17 years so I'm not complaning).
I am NOT bashing the Fiero Store. I just wonder if other have had this problem. I have owned the car since new. Never wrecked so I know the tank mounting studs are in the proper position.

I know what you mean and I just made some rubber washers of my own, not as thick and it worked great. Good luck!
