Hey guys,

My driver'sdoor must be to low, you really have to slam the door to get it to close complety. it looks as if the door is sitting to low, is there away to raise it up abit?

It's probably your door-hinge pins and bushings that needs replacement.
Pretty inexpensive but a bit tricky to change.
I think the Ogre has some instructions.

You have open and closed the door to many times.
Change the worn out doorhinges.

You can find a door hinge rebuild kit at most autopart store's Help section. I think the one you want is for an S-10. They basically are new bushings and pins. My car had the same problem from the previous owner. It was so bad that it fractured the sheet metal around the door latch, from all of the door slamming. Good thing a friend of mine has a welder.

I just took itup to my shop, we started looking around and found that the top pin, had come out of the top bracket hold. we put it back in and it close good (without the "SLAM") but the door seems to sit to far in, any idea's??
