i own an 88 fiero coupe, and ever since i bought it,the air conditioning has not been functioning correctly. The main problem is the servos inside my dashboard, everytime i push the a/c norm button on my control panel, no air comes out at all troughout any of my vents, and the fan works great but even if i depress the defrost, max a/c,norm a/c, max a/c, and even my heater buttons, no air comes out of my vents. If any of you guys could help me whit this problem it would be very greatly appreciated. One last thing, when i press the buttons on my control panel, i can hear the servos trying to open up, but stil not air. Thanx in advance.

There is a servo inside the heater/ac box that moves the baffles. Yours is either not working or disconnected. The servo is right behind the radio. I have had success by removing the radio and playing with the connectors to the servo. I tried replacing mine but it was too hard to get to the little retaining clip. After being frustrated I reconnected it andt it worked so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Similar problem on my 88. Servo worked O.K. when cool (below 90 degrees) but wouldn't operate (no AC) when hot. I got it to go into the max AC one morning and pulled the connector off. Works fine now.
