How much of the sheetmetal in the engine compartment can be cut out? I dont want to compromise the stuctural integrity of the car becuase I'm going to autocross it, but I need to have a pretty large hole for my intercooler ducting. Any info and, of course, pics would be great! Thanks guys,

The area where the battry box is mounted is sprt of the area on both sides. I know I can't cut into the shock tower, but I need to run a duct from the side scoop I made to the intercooler, which is mounted right behind the driver's head and behind the passenger's head. Thsnkd,
