I'm sure a lot of you do. Which makes me wonder if something is 'not right' with my car. I had 16x7" wheels with a 38mm offset. Tires were 205 55. When I turned all the way to the left, the wheels rubbed on the lower control arm. It didn't rub when turned all the way to the right. Mine is lowered with Eibach springs.
Do any of you other guys have this problem?

Hmm, I have Eibach's and GA wheels 16x6x47J which are 47mm offset with 225/50-16. They will rub if I take it hard to the stops and they barely touch.

I have 215/60 tires on 14x6 wheels with 48mm offset. Front is lowered about 1". I have not noticed any tire rub.

I guess I need to look over the suspension again. Or maybe my steering rack is messed up. More offset does mean the wheel is tucked in more, right?

yes more offset on our vehicle means the tire is tucked in more.

You really shouldn't have a rubbing problem at all. Not unless you have like 16x7+ width wheels in the front. A friend of mine had porsche boxter wheels on his fiero (after he converted the bolt pattern). Those are 16" and have an offset of 55mm as well, and I don't believe he had a rubbing problem even with 2" drop spindles.

I had to rebalance one wheel because the wheel weights were rubbing on tight turns, those are on the stock GT wheels (35mm offset).
