Hi, recently purchased a 98 3800 SC W/465 auto off e-bay(tired of usual fiero insults).Its out of a 98 pace car got complete cradle,computer and all under hood wiring,fuel pump etc. Car will be an 85 gt 5-speed. I'd like to use the harness that came with the engine if possible,I just finished a tpi in a vega, but its an obd 1. Any help or advice greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

I just finnished putting a 1998 series II 3800SC with 4T65E HD out of a Park Avenue into my 86 SE. I found a lot of great info on this site, there are a lot of good people here. If I can help in any way feel free to ask.

What did you use for axles on the 4T65? Custom made or can you mix and match out of another GM production vehicle?

I used the Fiero manual tranny drivers side axle on the passengers side and an axle out of an 88 Pont. 6000 that had a 4spd auto with small brakes on the drivers side just like I was told on this forum and they fit perfectly. I found excellent info on this forum and would like to thank all who supplied the info.
One piece of advice I have is aviod the Park Avenue as it has a more fussier pass key system so I had to use a BCM with the pass key module. On my next one I am using a Grand Prix GTP set up. Other than that I had no problem.
