Does anyone know of an aftermarket source for aluminum SBC engine blocks? I have been searching for a long time with no luck, other than a GM block. A while back I was searching on this forum and someone mentioned an aftermarket source but I cannot find that page again. I would sure appreciate any help locating a source.

Thanks

$$$$$$$$
I hope your willing to drop $5K just to save 100lbs.
check out some of the Fbody or corvette forums. You might get lucky and find a used one for sale.
as far as brand, I dont know of any aftermarket blocks. I would think that an aftermarket block would cost more. I know aftermarket Iron blocks are nearly double the price of a new GM block.
