Topic says it all.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate.
And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Not too much you can do with the plastic barings shot on the inside of the motor. Rodneys rebuild kit is $10 for two motors.

Does the motor stick or does the electric power not get to the motor? Take the assembly out of the car and hook it up to a battery, a 9 volt was big enough to move mine a few times.

If the motor is stuck, you need to buy a new one (ebay?) or rebuild it.

If the motor moves, then you need to check your wiring, mainly your relays. There are 2 that can go bad, a main for both lights, and one for each light.

I replaced my relays, the motor moves up, but forgetst to come down. I'm going to check the wiring for it because I think the old wires are losing connection.

Thought that my headlight motor was shot and would need rebuild-lubricated pivot points with silicon spray and the headlight door pads with white greese. No problems (not rebuilt) in the last year and driven in winter.

not to steal the thread or anything, BUT i have the same problem i guess you could say. One of my headlights on the 86 GT doesnt go down right away if at all. The motors seem to work, but upon turning them off the drivers side will stay up for a little while longer or else it will not go down at all. I have found out that if you open up the hood and hit the knob that you are supposed to turn to open them manually it will go down. Any ideas on what the problem is here? Im thinking gears? Is rodneys kit for the earlier design or the later design?
