On my Fiero the wheels were spray painted silver by the previous owner. I guess it was to match the new corvette millinium yellow that they put on it, but I would prefer that it had the original black spokes and polished aluminum rims, athough all polished aluminum would be fine. Is it possible to do a good job stripping off the new coat of silver without making a bigger mess of the rims? If so how?

'Low odor aircraft remover' from Pep Boys, Advance Auto, etc. works great for removing paint and clearcoat. Paint it on, wait about an hour and scrape off with a small metal spatula. Do this about three times and your wheels will be stripped and ready to be polished. Go to http://www.eastwoodco.com/aspfiles/default.asp?UID=2003051323454420
for your polishing needs.

Orief, do you have any pictures on the final product? I'm anxious to give them a once over
