Where are you guys getting the Dorman 610-323 wheels studs from? It seems nobody in Canada has them!!

Also, the Dorman online catalog http://www.rbinc.com/ (search by PN# 610-323) lists the knurl diameter as 12.80mm dia. The Zettner parts list list says the knurl is 12.67mm dia. Obviously, one is incorrect, but does that actual part fit the Fiero hub properly?

Thanks guys...
Tony B.

I'm also interested in this. Fiero Sound, what does Canadian Tire/Part Source carry?

Most shops have listing "By Application" ONLY which means you'd just end up with the same bolts you already have. The listings don't show optional "overlength" Part Numbers, which is what the Dorman part actually is. They also don't have any kind of cross-reference guide to other stud manufacturers.

I checked CDN Tire, Parts Source, LORDCO (B.C.), NAPA, Superior Auto etc. etc. I even called Dorman Products to ask who in Canada was a distributor for their products, and got the above stores!? Meanwhile, none of them know anything about Dorman wheels studs (but Dorman does have ALOT of "other" stuff they sell too).

It would have been SO MUCH BETTER if we could just ask for "wheel studs for such-and-such" car or van.

I find it hard to believe that these wheel studs are unique to Fieros.

It might be worth a trip to the wreakers to cross reference a year/model with the studs we need.

There is a place in the N.E. called Triad Fastners they have a lot of wierd stuff that is where i had to go for my lower control arm bolts, Give them a call ( don't drive im not confident so i don't want to waste your time) maybe they might have them or be willing to make them but thats probably not worth it.

Triad Fasteners, Calgary Fasteners, Bolt Supply Warehouse...

Been there. They don't have wheel studs.

Thought I would post this here as well. You might want to look at some full size truck studs, I recently had to put some new ones on my Dakota (94) and compared them (in size) to the ones Tony is looking for. Correct diameter, thread pitch is different (no big deal, just need new nuts), but the length is a bit short, so maybe a full size truck may work?

If it were me...
Since you have a good Dorman part no. and several distributors mentioned by Dorman, I'd try asking one of them to special order those studs. I mean, it's not like you just need a couple! You may run into a minimum order quantity that's more than one guy needs, but maybe you could combine everyone's order into one.

I had a hell of a time trying to locate the studs for my Beretta conversation.
I ended up using some bendix from the local parts store, and machining the base down in insert in to the hub...
