Has anyone had any kind of problems with the aftermarket shifter cables the Fiero Store sells? Wondering if I'm the only one. This part is an utter piece of SH*T.

Not a shifter cable, but bought a throttle cable from them and it was not made very well. They offered me a 10% discount on it for my hassles.....I know Rodnet D. sells them not sure of the quality of them but they are cheaper than the Fiero Store.

Yup. Rodney's are reputed to be the best. Pretty much like everything else he sells.

I had ordered a shift cable from NAPA for 70-some bucks and it was too long. Ordered one from Rodney and he wrote back saying the ones he has are too long. Bought the aftermarket Fiero Store cable and it came apart in ONE DAY. Couldn't stand to be touched to anything in the engine bay (not even the little hook to keep the cable out of the way) or it melted straight through. Doesn't use good metal sheathing like the original. The cable was labeled "Made in Israel" and upon consulting with a person in the industry they told me they didn't know any Israeli company. I think I'm getting a $120 shaft job.
