The old valve cover on my duke is looking pretty bad, large dents, etc...

So, I was looking through and Edelbrock catalog and noticed the SD-4 valve cover. Emissions equipment isn't any concern to me anymore as I'm running a carb and no ECM. I also have no issues with external clearence.

Is this valve cover just a bolt on deal, require some modifications, or does it use a different bolt pattern altogether?

Thanks,
Nate

It is a 2-piece valve cover that bolts onto the engine with no problem. There are some things that need to be moved. T-top Fiero has one on his. Here is a link to pics and install help.

The SD-4 valve cover bolts right on. Two things need to be done. One get a hole saw to make a hole for PVC valve. Two the temp sensor needs some work because the valve cover is right over it. You could also add that sensor to the goose neck with the other sensor that is already there.
