Hi!

unfortunately, there is no MSD module, I wrote to MSD to ask for a reference and they told me that they don't manufacture the module!

Stick with AC Delco. I got an Accel module which lasted less than a year.

I believe Holley may have one, but have no knowledge about their longevity/reliability.

See here http://www.weiand.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/IS/ISA/891-103.html

If you're running the stock 2.8 just stick with the ACDelco stuff..
The "High performance" coils that clam to put out so much more spark,
usually just end up blowing ignition modules, and distributor triggers...

If you're going to get a "High Performance" coil, then you will need to get
the hole ignition system kit. Coil, distributor, and box.....

If you don't do the hole system, and just get the coil..
Keep the fallowing handy at all times..

Spare Distributor, ignition module, and the connecting wire harness, as it usually melts the wiring....

?? I'm running an MSD 6AL and Blaster Coil with the stock distributor. Haven't blown anything.

I was also just running the coil for a month before I got the 6AL. Worked great.

I too run a full MSD 6AL Ignition System but I use the stock pick-up coil and AC Delco ICM, so far for the past year nothing has fried.

Wow...guess some of us have the luck, and I get the BAD luck...

I had the Accell HP coil on my GT a few years back, and I blew 2 Ign.Mod.'s
and one Distributor trigger all with in a year. and the worst part is I was on the freeway
about 300 miles from town, and I had to leave my car, and go back with my trailer..

I finely replaced all components with eh stock ACdelco and I never had the problem again...

Thinking about this now, I remember that I had advanced timing at 16 deg.
Maybe that was the cause of the over heating of the components...

One reason I don't run Accel, another reason is the bad reviews on the Accel Supercoil for the DIS Gen II V6s when I had my W-Body. I've heard other complaints about Accel, so I steer clear of them.
