I know I should replace them, but the 13" is all I can really afford right now.

The stock size is P185/80R13, what I have found is that the P175/70R13 are common, but not the 185's, also, I cannot find anything wider than that. I dont want to go any lower as I do not live in a city, and have to drive down some gravel roads.

To those of you who have not thrown your 13" rims into the bush, what brand and size tire are you using?

I have brand new P185/80R13 (Skytracker II, made by GoodYear) on the front, but I will be replacing the rear tires when I do an allignment. I would like to go wider than stock, without changing the radius too much.

Forget the 175/70s they are way too low. Check out clearance racks at tire and auto supply stores, you can sometimes pick up 205/70X13 tires. They refer to these as a "dead" size since it hasn't been a factory size for 20 years. I saw a pair last year at Canadian Tire for only $20 each.

Good luck
Ira

any size number is fine, but id stick with the taller 78 or 80 series tires. The wheelwells on Fieros (in case you didnt notice) are big enough for off road tires.
