...should I use to replace those which hold the rear lower control arm in place on an '85 SE?

The first one I pulled out is pitted more than I like due to corrosion. The photo makes it look better than it actually is.

Which bolt there are three...If I was going to buy one I would get a 10.9, but I doubt that is really necessary if we are talking about the pin from the ball joint. Since there is very little force on the bolt itself. I think it is 10 mm. Don't get full thread you want an unthreaded part against the pin in the lower control arm. As far as the other two definitely 10.9 there is allot of stress on those

Thanks LS1!

Looking at my post, I certainly wasn't very specific about which bolts I was after. Funny, I knew what I was talking about.

It's the two bolts which hold the LCA to the cradle (the pinch bolt which secures the ball joint is fine). I added a photo to my original post a few minutes ago.

My usual rule of thumb is ANYTIME I replace a bolt or screw, i use the highest grade one I can find that fits. My way of thinking, no bolt can ever be too strong.

Manufactures way = what is the lightest and cheapest bolt we can get away with.
