thanks to the mityvac i was able to bleed my clutch.. same low pressure but driveable.. but i noticed somethign today as i was showing my friend the car.. my fluid was black agian.. i know i flushed it completly i must have almost put 2 quarts of fluid threw they system from all the bleeding i did..

he said my master cylinder is shot and is burning the fluid. sound right??

hes a import guy and believes in loud annoying mufflers os i never take his word for anythign but every now and then he surprises me with something.

Ya just replace Lisas slave cylinder with brand new one. Dale flushed whole system out with power bleeder and its already black again. Beats me, but It still works fine

Burnt brake fluid.... that's funny. Except that some git would actually believe it.

The new fluid is probably pulling dirt out of the the system. The dirt/rust clings to stuff and the new fluid simply washes it out over time. In a neglected system it can do that for some time once you start using good fluid in it.

thanks i think i will listen to ogre.. i didnt believe him to begin with but ive heard wilder facts that are true soo i never dout anything anymore (using silver spray paint to seal headgaskets better).. i couldnt see how it could "burn fluid" but knew there had to be a reason.. thanks again for everything.
