im looking at buying a 3.8 for the fiero and i was looking and i found this 1993 Buick Tune Port Injected 3800 V-6 Engine w/ 4T60E Automatic Trans. from a 1993 Buick Regal Custom for $300 it was pulled from a totalled buick .. side impact .. engine runs great ... would it fit in a swap

That's true.......but it has lots of power compared to the 2.8 and unless you're gonna race it, it's more than enough power for most people for street driving. I want one in my GT.

Phil's right, our 85 GT needs an engine, at 300k kilometers, it's getting tired out.

I was pricing engine's just this week locally, and a 3800SC complete is going to run 3k dollars, whereas I can get a Series II 3800 NA for 1k complete.

The way I see it, a NA 3800 is going to have a ton more power than a worn out 2.8 .
Should be plenty for a daily driver.
