I've decided which route I'm going with my swap (Thanks Will, atherd, WCapman). I thought I'd pass on a little something I came across while trying to put the swap together. Granted, it's only programmed for 2000+ model year engines, but it comes all set to run your Northstar.

This guy obviously builds sandrails. He quoted me an aftermarket ECU, with program for a 275 or 300hp Northstar. I was quoted $1200. Sounds good to me. It uses factory sensors! It knows about the odd timing placement! I suppose it's not an option if you live in an emissions state, but here in my part of Michigan, they don't test.
