Hi all Iam new to the forum, but I have after a long search found a yellow87gt. the guy I bought it from never had it running but did nice paint, he had no info on the car and didn't know why it was dead.after 2hours freind and I had it running. The bab news is real bad knock in back #4 I think.what is the fix? replace? "V8 sitting in grage"? or rebuild?

Any of the above. Bad knocking=bad engine. The decision will be made by your pocketbook and skills.

Rebuild/repair if you have the skills. Replace with a stock 2.8 engine or 3.4 engine, go wild with a V8. Nothing is quite as easy unless we know your wallet size.
