Ive been looking around trying to find a good location for an engine oil cooler with not much sucess. I have considered maybe putting one underneath one of the vent panels behind the rear windshield with a remote fan. Would this be a good location for it while im moving? THe fan would be on a thermostatic switch so it would only turn on at a preset temp but might be nice to draw air through while im moving.

If you use lower quarter panel scoops you can fit a small one on the right side of the car just in front of the rear wheel. You will need to make up a braket to hold it as well as running with out the fender liner.

The only problem witht he sidescop sis that i alredy have that spot reserved. Im going to have a set of NSX style sidescoops molded intot he lower quarters for the intercoolers i plan to run eventually, but it would probably work for now.

I'd think you'd be better off venting it somehow, as opposed to removing the wheelwell liner. If the rear wheel was to kick something up in the wheelwell, you might have more problems than just a punctured tire..
