Hey guys, ok I did what was suggested and I removed the front facia and the hood. I removed the wiring harness that runs accross the front. It looked like it had gotten pinched bout where the hood attatches but I guess I was wrong because when I took the black plastic off, all the wires where fine. The only thing that I saw that was wrong was on the right side signal light bulb socket, the plug that has the 2 wires(not the ground) was twisted sideways. Anyone know how to get these plugs out?
Does anyone know where else the wires from those lights lead? Maybe they got pinched somewhere else? Or is that unlikely.
K I'll just run through whats going on one more time. Ok, when I turn my running lights
(parking lights or whatever u call them)on my left front signal light comes on. It comes on solid, like its supposed to. But my right one does not. On my dash, the light indicator for my left signal is on but fairly faint. Thats what I find the wierdest and it points to a short but the wires all seem to be fine. Signal lights worked yesterday, but no longer work today. When I signal they just stay solid and thats it. But my flasher(yellow thing under the dash) was working fine yesterday. We replaced it just to make sure but it didn't help. Does anybody have any clue whats goin on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may be a dumb idea, but I would check the grounds for the front lights. Maybe one of them broke free from it's grounding point? Or it could just be loose and removing the front fascia section jostled it loose?

Also, try wiggling the wires in that one section you said looked pinched. Pinched wires -can- break with out the insulation being cut. It's happened to me, and it's a pain to track down.

Good Luck!

Thx for the reply's guys. Here's an update(I just got in from the garage) I discoverd that the right socket had a contact missing. So I had another one laying around from my parts car and I put it on. Now everything is working pritty good. I turn on my running lights and the interior signal lights aren't on which is good. Both signal lights come on nicely. When I signal left it works but it seems to be a bit slow. The right one does not work at all. Both of these bulbs are new. I am going to be inspecting the wires more closely and fidling a bit more. I hope this helps to clarify what the problem might be. Thx again. I will go check those grounds but isn't the ground wire built into the socket? Thats what It looked like to me. The only thing that is not working is my right signal. Thx again and wish me good luck!

This is probably another dumb idea, but what about the taillights? Maybe something jiggled loose on them, or a bulb burned out?

First of all there are no dumb idea's when you guys are doing me a favor by trying to help me! This could be a possibility but I think unlikely. I have just rememberd something that probably will help. You know how u can manualy signal just buy moving the arm up a bit then bringit back down then up again. Well I can do that and the rear light flashes but the front does not. Does this help?

Success!!! She's all fixed! Ok, on further inspection as I mentioned before there were slight pinches in the wires. So I took your advice and I tested on each side of the pinch to see if there was power. There was not. I cut and re spliced the wires. Next I inspected both the light sockets. The right socket was missing one of its contacts inside. I had a spare socket from a parts car so I spliced it in. I replaced both bulbs and presto! She works now!
Thx so much again guys, I really appreciate your help as always!!! Another successfull fiero operation and another happy fiero owner.

Ditto Steve N. on the seatbelts.

The world needs all the Fiero drivers and mechanics it has, and you're both! Can write, too.

Glad you both are OK.
