I know i made a previous topic based on the same thing. but i have a slightly different question. If anyone gets the chance can you look at your lower control arm bolts and tell me which side the washer is on the bolt end or the nut end. I don't know if this is important but i realized my driver side is different from my passenger

When I replaced my poly bushings I also replaced all the bolts upper and lower. I put washers on both sides, but thats just me. Typically it would go on the nut side.

Ditto. They come on the nut side, but it is a good idea to get washers for other side as well.

Normally I'd say that they go on the nut side. Period.

But I'm just in the process of lowering a one owner car who's owner says it's never been apart -- and ALL of the control arms have the washers under the BOLT head!?

Stupid - but whatever, that's what GM did (I'm still not saying it's right!).
